Get to Know Me
I’m a qualified Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (PYL039976). I offer a warm, compassionate, and thoughtful space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. Over the years, I have worked in large psychiatric settings as part of multidisciplinary teams, as well as in private practice, supporting adults with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties in both the UK and South Africa.
I work with adults experiencing psychological distress and am trained to support people with a broad range of concerns. My particular specialist interest is in helping adults who have experienced emotional and psychological abuse, whether within intimate relationships or in dynamics involving family, friends, or colleagues. I also have significant experience supporting women through postnatal depression and anxiety.
My approach is person-centred, systemic, and deeply attentive to each individual’s unique experience. I see people not only in terms of their inner world, but also in the context of the relationships and systems that shape their lives. Alongside therapeutic conversation, I also work with the nervous system, drawing on approaches such as Brainspotting and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I believe that healing from trauma often involves more than talking alone; it can also require attention to how trauma is held in the mind, body, and nervous system.
Originally from South Africa, I have lived and worked both there and in the UK, and I value the richness that comes from understanding people across different cultures and life experiences. My own journey has taken me from advertising in London to psychology and therapeutic work, giving me a broad appreciation of both personal and professional pressures. Now based in Salisbury and close to family, I am also a mother to two boys, an avid reader, a Star Trek enthusiast, and a hopeful artist. I believe these parts of life help keep me grounded, curious, and connected as I support others in their own journeys.
